Spirituality in a Time of Turmoil

(TW: This single article was written from a Christian-based perspective)

With all of the chaos and change occurring in our world during COVID-19, it is easy to lose sight of your spiritual goals at this time. I ask that you take a moment each day, even ten minutes, to find time with your higher power. Utilizing this time as a time of solitude, indoors or outdoors, where you can focus on your relationship with your higher power. For me, that’s taking time with God.

Everyone has their own relationship with their spiritual guide, but for those of you that may need someone, or who already are believers in Jesus Christ and God our Heavenly Father, here are a few scriptures that may be of assistance to you at this difficult time.

“…my eyes are dim with grief. I call to you, Lord, every day; I spread out my hands to you.” -Psalms 88:9

Feeling fearful and need to increase your faith?

“Now faith, is confidence in what we hope for, and assurance about what we do not see.” – Hebrews 11:1

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” -Romans 8:28

“In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” James 2:17

“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” – 1 Corinthians 13:13

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” -Psalms 56:3
